Flexible Community Support

Our Make and Share hub is a series of micro-initiatives that are designed to work with our community to find innovative and flexible support options that are not one-size-fits all.

Providing collaborative workspaces, access to assistive technology, resources, and opportunities for creative expression, the hub will support people to connect, create and innovate.

Our hub will be working with community partners to benefit other equity-deserving groups, sharing programming opportunities and collaborating on new initiatives.

We have both funded and fee-for-service community programs. All of our funded spots are referred through Developmental Services Ontario.

Community Programs and Services

ComputerWise

Founded in 1987, ComputerWise has evolved over the years but has always stayed true to its mandate -- embracing the power of technology to support people with disabilities to overcome barriers to independence. The program provides meaningful computer-based skills development opportunities, access to assistive equipment and new technologies, including 3D printers and accessible design software, laser cutting, and more!

Create and Connect

Creatively explore with your community--from card making, learning how to use design software, knitting--the sky's the limit! The Create and Connect program aims to help people unleash their imaginations in a collaborative and inclusive space. Our classes are designed to be hands-on and engaging, with a focus on project-based learning. We look forward to helping you or your loved one unleash your creativity and explore!

Shared Connections

We all need to feel connected and in this strange new world, we must find innovative ways to stay connected. Whether it is remote support to attend virtual healthcare appointments, online grocery shopping, virtual activities and everything in between--our virtual outreach supports, Shared Connections, is here to help! We provide ongoing assistance both remotely or in-person, for software, hardware, troubleshooting, and much more.

1:1 Support

OFP's can provide 1:1 community support to people with disabilities to maximize their independence and quality of life. Our support workers empower people to grow their independence through tailored skills training and support with appointments, shopping and everything in between. The intent of our program is to help the people who use our services build confidence, increase comfort with new resources.

Service Fees & Funding Options

Ottawa Foyers Partage (OFP) has both funded and fee-for-service options available to meet the needs of our community. The fee menu listed below is for those who wish to purchase services directly from OFP. For those who are looking for Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) funded spots, you will need to be referred through Developmental Services Ontario – Eastern Region. Program Fees

Morning $45 to 65

8:30 to 11:30 AM

Early to Mid-Afternoon $45 to $65

Noon to 3:00 PM

Full Day $90 to $130

8:30 to 3:00 PM

Late Afternoon $40 to $60

3:30 to 5:30 PM

Activity Only $15

This cost is per activity (1 to 2 hours max). This option does not include supervision or staffing support. If staffing is required, please get in touch to request 1:1 support.

Program fees are based on the support requirements of the person and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Service Fees

1:1 Support $50 per hour

Fully Customizable and Flexible.

Shared Connections Varies

Facility Rental $50-$100 per hour

Please get in touch for more information. Fees determined on room being requested and duration of rental, etc.
